Frequently asked questions

What to know before you install Metrico.

Straight answers about what Metrico connects, what merchants can review, how plans work, and which actions stay under your control.

01

Built around Shopify

Metrico uses Shopify for store-side commerce context and connects supported advertising channels for paid-media analysis.

02

Channel limits stay visible

Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads do not expose identical capabilities, so Metrico only shows the views supported by the connected provider.

03

You stay in control

Metrico provides analysis and recommendations for review. It does not silently change your campaigns or budgets.

Common questions

What merchants usually want to know.

What does Metrico do?

Metrico connects Shopify with supported advertising channels so merchants can review products, campaigns, supported creatives, Product × Ads relationships, inventory context, and recommendations in one product.

Does Metrico replace Shopify Analytics?

No. Shopify remains the core commerce source. Metrico adds advertising context and merchant-focused review workflows around it.

Does Metrico replace Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or TikTok Ads?

No. Those platforms remain the place for provider-specific campaign management. Metrico helps you review their supported performance data beside Shopify context.

Which advertising providers does Metrico support?

Metrico supports configured Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads capabilities. Actual availability depends on the integrations enabled for the deployment, provider approval, and the accounts you authorize.

What is Product × Ads?

Product × Ads connects supported advertising activity with Shopify products where Metrico has a usable mapping. Shared or unclear relationships remain shared or unmapped instead of being forced onto one product.

Does Metrico use a first-party Pixel?

Metrico Pixel can collect first-party storefront events when enabled by the merchant, including supported session and funnel behavior used in Metrico's storefront analysis.

Does Metrico automatically change my ad budgets?

No. The current product keeps campaign actions under merchant control.

What happens when required data is missing?

Metrico can show a metric or recommendation as unavailable or incomplete instead of presenting missing information as a real zero.

How much does Metrico cost?

Essentials at $49.99/month and Pro at $84.99/month. Eligible stores can start a 14-day trial confirmed by Shopify, with Pro-equivalent access.

How is billing handled?

Metrico uses the Shopify app subscription flow. The active Shopify checkout is the final source for the subscription a merchant approves.

How can I delete my Metrico data?

Disconnect supported providers and follow the verified request process on the Data Deletion page. Provider-controlled copies are handled through each provider's own privacy process.

Where can I read about security?

The Security page covers authentication, provider authorization, tenant boundaries, protected credentials, data handling, and responsible disclosure.
