Terms of service
Clear product boundaries, clear merchant control.
These terms describe the baseline conditions for using Metrico. Plan-specific checkout terms, an order form, or another signed agreement can supplement or replace parts of these public terms for that customer.

Eligibility and authority
You may use Metrico only if you can enter into the agreement that applies to the account and only for stores, advertising accounts, data, and provider connections you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for accurate registration information and for protecting credentials used to access the service.
Connected providers
Metrico depends on third-party platforms such as Shopify and, when enabled, Meta, TikTok, or Google. Their availability, APIs, scopes, rate limits, attribution methods, and policies can change independently of Metrico. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the providers you connect.
Merchant data
You retain responsibility for merchant data you submit or authorize Metrico to access. You grant Metrico the rights necessary to host, process, transform, and display that data solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the service in accordance with the applicable privacy and data-processing terms.
Recommendations and analytics
Metrico surfaces historical findings, calculations, analytics, risks, opportunities, and recommendations from available commerce, advertising, inventory, and first-party evidence. Outputs are decision support rather than guarantees of future revenue, demand, inventory, profitability, attribution, or advertising performance. You remain responsible for reviewing the underlying business context and deciding whether to act.
Provider writes and merchant control
Metrico does not silently change advertising budgets or provider settings. A feature that can write to a provider must identify the action and operate inside the authorization boundary implemented for that feature. You remain responsible for the changes you approve.
Subscriptions and billing
Metrico app subscriptions are approved and billed through Shopify App Pricing. Essentials is $49.99 USD per 30 days and Pro is $84.99 USD per 30 days, before applicable taxes. Eligible stores receive a 14-day trial with Pro features. Shopify displays eligibility, the selected plan, trial deadline and charge before approval; reinstalling does not guarantee another trial. After the trial, the selected plan and its limits apply.
Manage upgrades and downgrades from Metrico → Plan & billing → Manage plan in Shopify. Shopify determines the effective change date and any proration shown during approval. Uninstall Metrico in Shopify Admin to cancel its subscription. Disconnecting an advertising provider does not cancel the app subscription. See the Refund Policy for charge disputes.
Preview and beta features
Features labeled Preview, Beta, experimental, or similar can change, be incomplete, or depend on provider access and synchronized evidence. They can be modified or withdrawn without the same availability expectations as generally available features.
Acceptable use
You may not access stores or accounts you do not control, bypass security or authorization controls, abuse provider APIs, probe other merchants' data, upload malicious code, disrupt the service, use Metrico to violate law or provider policy, or attempt to obtain credentials or secrets belonging to another person.
Intellectual property
Metrico and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, design, documentation, and branding. These terms do not transfer ownership of Metrico technology or third-party platform intellectual property. Feedback may be used to improve the service without identifying confidential merchant information as public endorsement.
Service changes and availability
Metrico may add, modify, or remove features as the product evolves. Temporary interruptions can occur during maintenance, provider incidents, rate limiting, security events, or infrastructure failures. No service dependent on third-party APIs can guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and disconnect integrations. Metrico may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, connected providers, or address material violations of these terms. Data handling after termination follows the applicable privacy, deletion, retention, and contractual obligations.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Metrico is provided without a guarantee that every dataset, attribution method, provider API, recommendation, or commercial outcome will be error-free or fit every merchant decision. Any contract-specific warranties, liability caps, indemnities, governing law, or dispute terms stated in an executed order form or signed agreement take precedence over inconsistent public terms.
Changes and contact
Material updates to these public terms are reflected by the updated date above. Questions about the terms applicable to a specific account can be submitted through the contact page.
